What is Pert Vehicle?
Pert vehicle means that the vehicle is heavily damaged and becomes unusable or loses its value in a traffic accident. Pert record means that the vehicle loses the value of 70% or more according to motor own damage insurance. The word "pert" is used to mean "not available" in the decisions of the Supreme Court. For the vehicle with pert, the insurance company pays the value of the vehicle on that day. The pert status of the vehicle is recorded on the plate and thus the pert record is created.
The insurance company must be notified within five days from the date of damage to the vehicle. These five days should not be spent. If this period passes, the insurance does not take responsibility.
For the vehicle to be evaluated as pert, the experimental report must be in this direction. If the vehicle is qualified as a curtain with the expert report, the insurance company must pay the coverage amount in the policy. If the insurance company pays the value of the vehicle, the vehicle remains with the insurance company and after the towing certificate is received, it is transferred to the insurance company with the sales contract. If he requests that the insured vehicle stays with him, he can stay with the vehicle owner. In this case, the amount in the compensation amount paid by the insurance company changes. The insurance company calculates the amount to be obtained when the vehicle is sold in its damaged condition, the vehicle is minimized from the market value and the payment is made accordingly and remains with the owner of the vehicle.
